Building Stronger Communities

A Partnership for Stronger Communities

GameTime works with park and recreation departments throughout California to plan, design, and maintain parks and recreation spaces that encourage multi-generational play for people of all abilities.

We want to help you celebrate your community with a complete turnkey solution to raise awareness, recognize your dedication to outdoor activity, and provide outcomes data on how your Prop 68-funded project is improving quality of life for everyone.

The Data Speaks for Itself

22 California communities use our data collection framework at National Demonstration Site parks and playgrounds. The information we gather from these sites makes it clear to you and to your community the long-term benefits of creating research-based recreation areas.

Our Process and Results

Build

Across California, communities have big plans for projects funded by Prop 68. GameTime's play and recreation experts in California offer a complete design-build solution with complimentary renderings and concepts to help you visualize the project from beginning to end. We serve as the general contractor to prepare your site, build the space, and provide landscaping, fencing, and other amenities, as necessary

Celebrate

We have a history of celebrating new parks in California. When you work with GameTime to build your Prop 68-funded project, we help you promote and celebrate the opening. Our designs are backed by best practice research and qualify for designation as a National Demonstration Site (NDS). During your grand opening, we will host an NDS award presentation ceremony and share how the community can collect vital information about how the park is making a difference in people's lives.

Report

As a National Demonstration Site, your project receives many benefits. One of the most important is a framework for collecting usage data and preparing outcomes reports. Each site includes a welcome sign with a QR code visitors scan to answer a few questions. We collect that data and prepare regular reports so you can see the positive impact your project makes on the quality of life of your community.

Griffith Park

The City of Los Angeles turned to GameTime and Great Western Recreation to provide a unique, themed play space out of an existing grass field adjacent to the majestic Greek Theater at Griffith Park. The GameTime and Great Western Recreation team provided a complimentary site plan design, all the necessary play equipment, safety surfacing, fencing, and provided the full scope of work from excavation, to retaining walls, to installation and additional hardscape. The project is now one of the busier playgrounds in the City of LA and is a cherished destination for families in the community.
