American Society of Landscape Architects

American Society of Landscape Architects

Founded in 1899, ASLA is the national professional association for landscape architects, representing 17,000 members in 48 professional chapters and 68 student chapters. The Society's mission is to lead, to educate, and to participate in the careful stewardship, wise planning, and artful design of our cultural and natural environments.

Helping to Build Your Vision

We believe in the vision and artistry of landscape architecture. We support the efforts of landscape architects to create better communities and see them as valuable partners. That is why we regularly sponsor ASLA initiatives, conferences and events. Our professionals are presenters at conference educational sessions and various continuing education programs which offer CEUs through Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System, LACES, to help support the mission of ASLA and its role in improving the communities in which we live, work and play.
