Our solution
First of all, we want to help with your fundraising. That's right. We earmarked enough money to provide up to $25,000 in funding to get your school playground started!
Yes, we take play THAT seriously.
Why? Because schools have a unique opportunity to create healthier, happier environments for the diverse needs of their students – and healthier, happier kids because healthier, happier adults, who build healthier, happier worlds.
Second, we design playgrounds based on best practices and national standards for physical activity. Our parent company, PlayCore, has spent decades cultivating material to incorporate physical activity into recess. PlayCore created guidelines for active play spaces, called Play On!, developed in partnership with SHAPE America and PlayCore, which offer easy to implement playground programming and evidence-based best practices for designing outdoor play and learning environment. PlayOn! also includes 125 fun activities for students in PreK-5th grade to enjoy on the playground. It's a great way for teachers and coaches to implement physical education outdoors.
So what all goes into a PlayOn! school playground? There are six key elements.

- Brachiating
- Balancing
If you incorporate these six elements into your school playground, you’ll be eligible for a great honor – a National Demonstration Site designation by PlayCore. NDS playgrounds are featured in a national database. It’s a huge deal!
We wanted to make building a PlayOn! NDS-caliber playground as easy as 1-2-3. Our play experts and designers created 15 new play systems that are built around these play elements and are sure to keep your students on the move.
