Lunch. Learn. Fund.
Members of Texas Recreation and Parks Association (TRAPS), landscape architects, educators and advocates for outdoor play and recreation gathered today in Grand Prairie, Texas to hear best practices in the areas of inclusive play, adult outdoor fitness, nature-based play and other important topics. The workshop was hosted by TRAPS, GameTime, PlayCore and Total Recreation Products.

As part of the TRAPS Statewide Education and Funding Initiative, the session was one of many events across the state intended to educate and inspire with evidence-based research and stories from communities around the country. Each of the attendees received CEU credits and learned about a funding opportunity from GameTime that provides matching funds for projects that align with the research presented in the sessions.
Texas communities who wish to apply for matching funds for playground and recreation projects can submit an application essay online.
