GameTime Hosts Inclusive Play Workshops in Seattle and Tacoma

A Lunch & Learn with Impact!

GameTime, along with SiteLines Park & Playground, is hosting two inclusive/multigenerational recreation workshops in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington on November 14-15, 2017, respectively. The events will each begin at 9:30am and conclude at 2:00pm PST. Lunch will be provided and CEU credits will be awarded.

Leading the event is Jennie Sumrell, Director of Education with PlayCore. Jennie holds a Master's Degree in Special Education, is a certified master trainer for CEU workshops, a ballet dancer and a tireless advocate for inclusive play.

Education Sessions

Parks professionals, educators, landscape architects and anyone who is interested in promoting inclusive and multigenerational play in the community is invited to attend. Registration is free, but space is limited.

Accreditation

GameTime educational events are led by certified master trainers from PlayCore. PlayCore has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). In obtaining this accreditation, PlayCore has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is recognized internationally as a standard of good practice. As a result of our Authorized Provider status, PlayCore is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.

PlayCore is also pleased to be an approved CEU provider of ASLA–Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES); and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
