GameTime Brings Outdoor Fitness Space to New Cincinnati Park
Getting Fit in the Queen City
GameTime, along with Cincinnati Parks and DWA Recreation, GameTime's exclusive representative in Ohio, recently opened a new fitness space at Ault Park Commons. GTFit fitness products, such as a chest press and lat pull down, as well as balance beams and pull-up bars are installed along a new walking path that loops around a refurbished lawn area. Designed for users ages 13 and up, the new area is an ideal place for adults and older teens to exercise outdoors. Studies show people who exercise outdoors are more likely to stick with a fitness program and exercise more frequently.
The project was made possible by the generous donations and collaboration from the City of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Park Board, the State of Ohio, the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, the Sherman Family, and the Ault Park Advisory Council.

Wade Walcutt, Director of Cincinnati Parks/ said, “This is another example of how community collaboration can make great things happen. We are fortunate to have this level of participation and support from the Ault Park Advisory Council, under the leadership of Michelle Baxter. Thank you, Representative Brinkman, for being the champion with the State of Ohio and thank you Parks Foundation for your ongoing support and advocacy.” He continued, “When we talk about building better lives and better communities, this project represents exactly what we mean.”
