2012 Playground Funding Guide Offer Up-To-Date Playground Grant and Funding Opportunities

Ft. Payne, Alabama — GameTime continues its commitment of enriching childhood through play with the publication of its 2012 Playground Funding Guide. The guide is an up-to-date resource for customers seeking financial assistance with their playground project needs. It offers nearly 100 pages of international, national, regional and state funding opportunities to help customers obtain funding for playground projects of all sizes.

The guide categorizes grant opportunities by location and by play environment needs. Each funding source is labeled to identify grants for community builds, inclusive play, schools, parks/outdoor recreation and fitness. The guide also lists grant submission deadlines, program contacts and the funding source websites to help customers more easily match their projects to the funding sources needed.

“Our mission is to see children of all abilities with access to playgrounds in their communities. The 2012 Playground Funding Guide will help organizations identify funding sources to help make those playgrounds a reality,” said Fred Wiechmann, Vice President of Marketing for GameTime. “Moreover, our representatives work with customers to develop images of proposed playground projects to help illustrate how the grant money will be used. It’s a free service we provide and one that is very beneficial when seeking grant funds,” Wiechmann concluded.
